SUBJECT: RESOLUTION 2000-063;ROAD CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

The Finance Department opened bids for twelve road capital improvement projects on July 19, 2000. Attached is the resolution awarding the capital improvement contracts to the lowest bidders, along with the bid tabulation sheet for the twelve projects.

Improvements consist of 12" gravel overlay, drainage improvements consisting of ditching and CMP installation. This includes 13,828 lineal feet in the Central, 11,278 lineal feet in the North, 4,602 lineal feet in the East and 20,881 lineal feet in the South.

These projects were advertised in the legal section of the Peninsula Clarion on 7/5, 7/7, 7/10, 7/18, Homer News on 7/6, 7/13 and Seward Phoenix Log on 7/6, 7/13/00.

The funding for these projects is from the Road Service Area capital improvement budget. All expenditures for these projects will be charged to account numbers 434.33950.M5800 and 434-33950.01434.
