AUTHORIZING AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

FOR KENAI HEALTH BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

WHEREAS, the Borough Finance Director has solicited and received bid proposals to provide contract services for this project; and

WHEREAS, the lowest cost qualified and responsive bid submitted by G & S Construction is fair and reasonable and the bidder is qualified to perform the work; and

WHEREAS, funds are available in account 600.81111.99PHC;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to award a contract to in the amount of $2,193,800 for construction services.

SECTION 2. That all expenditures for this project will be charged to account 600.81111.99PHC.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute all documents and make all agreements, deemed necessary to complete this project in accordance with this Resolution and contract documents.

SECTION 4. That this resolution takes effect immediately upon its adoption.
