SUBJECT: Resolution 2000-021 authorizing the lease of a stall for the Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Medical Service Area ambulance

Pursuant to KPB 17.10.040, the assembly must approve the acquisition of interests in land. The Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Medical Service Area (APFMSA) is in need of space to house a recently purchased ambulance. They have found space at the Nikolaevsk Water Treatment plant and have negotiated a price of $500.00 per month. The attached lease and resolution are placed before the assembly for approval on behalf of the APFMSA. It is believed the lease payments will begin with the new fiscal year; however, if it is necessary to appropriate money for the remaining year from the APFMSA's fund balance, the administration will come back with the appropriate ordinance.
