MEMORANDUM
TO: William Popp, Assembly President
Members of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly
THRU: Dale L. Bagley, Borough Mayor
DATE: January 4, 2000
SUBJECT: Amendments to Resolution 2000-002: Establishing Priorities for Legislative Issues and Capital Projects for the Year 2000
Through Resolution 2000-002, the legislative priorities have been submitted to the assembly for approval. Subsequent to the assembly packet filing date, several communities and service areas have submitted additional projects. Specifically, we have received priorities from Anchor Point, Cooper Landing, Nikolaevsk, Ninilchik, Anchor Point Fire and Emergency Service Area, and the Road Service Area.
Also, requests for additions to the state road list have been received from assembly members. Added to the State Road Capital Improvement Projects are: East Redoubt Avenue, Emergency Escape Route, East Poppy Lane, Kalifornsky Beach Road (MP 0 - 16.4), and Kenai Keys Road.
I would like to request that the attached pages, numbered 7 through 11, be substituted for pages 7 through 11 of the Attachment to Res. 2000-002 (starting on page 67 of the packet).
At their meeting on January 3, 2000, the School Board approved the list of maintenance projects for schools. Therefore, no amendments are needed for the school priority list.
