SUBJECT: Ordinance 2000-19, Appropriating Funds for Fiscal Year 2000-2001

Ordinance 2000-19 appropriates the money necessary to fund the borough's annual budget for fiscal year 2000-2001. The amounts contained in the ordinance correspond with those appearing in the fiscal year 2000-2001 Kenai Peninsula Borough budget as presented to the assembly on May 2, 2000.

The ordinance includes the local funding and in-kind services necessary to support the 2000-2001 school district budget. That portion of the appropriation corresponds with the school district budget presented to the assembly on April 18, 2000, and approved through adoption of Resolution 2000-032.

Public hearings on May 16, 2000 and on June 6, 2000 are requested.
