A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR

CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE STERLING ELEMENTARY WATER TREATMENT BUILDING

WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing and Contracting Officer has solicited and received bids to provide contract services for this project; and

WHEREAS, the one bid submitted by Holden Company for the Base Bid of $62,124.00 is fair and reasonable and the bidder is qualified to perform the work; and

WHEREAS, funds are available in account 400.78050.05759 Arsenic Removal/Water Quality.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to award a contract to Holden Company for the Base Bid amount of $62,124.00 for construction services.

SECTION 2. That all expenditures will be charged to account 400.78050.05759.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute all documents and make all agreements deemed necessary to complete this project in accordance with this Resolution and contract documents.

SECTION 4. That this resolution takes effect immediately upon its adoption.
