SUBJECT: Resolution 2004 - 048 A Resolution Authorizing Award Of A Contract For Kenai Central High School 2004 Gymnasium Flooring Replacement

The Kenai Peninsula Borough solicited and opened bids for the above-referenced project on May 6, 2004. The invitation to bid was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion and the Anchorage Daily News on April 16th and 18th.

The total bids consist of providing all labor, materials, and equipment to remove the existing maple hardwood flooring, prepare the existing concrete slab, and furnish, install and finish a new maple hardwood athletic floor as per the specifications in the bid documents.

Funding is available in account number 400.73020.03735.43011.

Please consider the attached resolution authorizing award to Jay Brant General Contractors, LLC of Homer, Alaska.
