SUBJECT: Resolution 2004-010, supporting the Alaska Coastal Management Program

This resolution is to confirm continued borough support for the Coastal Zone Management Program, as authorized by Ordinance 90-20. In addition, as the result of the passage of HB191, there will be considerable time required for rewriting the policies for Coastal Consistency determinations, with a shortened timeline to accommodate this. It is certainly in the borough's best interest to remain involved in these upcoming changes, and to restate our support of the Coastal Zone Management Program.
