SUBJECT: A Resolution Deleting A Lead Electronics Technician And Adding A
Plumber/General Maintenance Mechanic In The Maintenance Department
The lead electronics technician position is currently vacant. The maintenance
department's workload is such that a plumber/general maintenance mechanic can more
readily address their needs. Electronics work will be handled by the remaining
electronics technician, other staff and through contractors. This change will result in a
savings of approximately 14% in personnel costs. A job description is attached for your
information.
