Subject: Resolution 2003-085 Classifying Borough Land Located in North Kenai, Sterling, Kalifornsky Beach, Beluga, Moose Point and Gray Cliff areas

Pursuant to KPB 17.10.080, classification provides direction on how the Borough should manage its land. Borough land classified appropriately for disposal is deposited into the Land Bank and may then be offered for sale at a later date. If this resolution is adopted, the listed parcels will be classified as shown and will be recommended for an outcry auction sale, except for the Beluga parcels.

Pursuant to KPB Chapter 17.10.080, public notice was published and notification was sent by regular mail to all owners and/or leaseholders of record within a one-half mile radius of the parcels proposed for classification. Notice was also sent to all KPB agencies. The notice consists of a cover letter, map, and list of land classification definitions.

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing July 28, 2003 for the classification of the subject parcels.
