SUBJECT: Resolution 2003-003, supporting the South Peninsula Behavioral Health Association Grant Application

As described in the accompanying resolution and letter from Susan Drathman, PRIDE Coordinator, the South Peninsula Behavioral Health Association, Inc. provides a much-needed service to certain residents of the Homer community. Currently, many of their vehicles are in need of replacement and an additional vehicle is required. The association is applying for a $123,000 grant from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, FTA Section 5310, Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Capital Grant Program to fund the purchase of these new vehicles and requires supporting resolutions from the local governing bodies to assist them in obtaining the grant. Your support of this resolution would be appreciated.
