SUBJECT: Resolution 2002-145, Award of Professional Services For The Kenai Middle School Fire Alarm System
The Purchasing and Contracting Department solicited and opened Proposals for this capital project on November 20, 2002. The Invitation to Bid was published in the Anchorage Daily News and the Peninsula Clarion, Homer News and the Seward Phoenix Log.
The project consists of designing a new fire detection and alarm system for the Kenai Middle School.
The three proposals received and were graded per the attached Tabulation of Scores. The appended Resolution requests Award of Contract for this work to AMC Engineers, as the high point firm, for the Base Bid and Reimbursable Amount of $22,768.00.
The funding for this project is from the Capital Improvement Projects budget. All expenditures for this project will be charged to account number 400.73030.03738.
