SUBJECT: Resolution 2002-060, Award of Contract Services for the Fuel Delivery System Installation at Nikolaevsk School.
The Finance Department solicited and received three bids for the Fuel Delivery System Installation at Nikolaevsk School project on May 2, 2002. The Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion, Seward Phoenix Log and Homer News.
Alaska Plus Environmental Services Inc. submitted the lowest cost qualified and responsible bid for a lump sum cost of 75,900.00.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary for installation of a single above ground fuel supply system to replace a two-tank system at the Nikolaevsk School. All work must be complete by August 15, 2002.
Alaska Plus is hereby recommended for award of contract for the contract amount of $75,900.00.
The funding for the project is from the underground storage tank budget. Expenditures for the project will be charged to account number 265.32560.00053.
