SUBJECT: Resolution for Award of Truck Purchase Contract

Note: This resolution and following memo are being submitted with blanks as the bids are not scheduled to be opened until April 11. The completed resolution and memo will be supplied to the assembly on or before April 16, 2002.

On March 21, 2002, the Kenai Peninsula Borough solicited bids for a Tandem Axle Truck with 24-Foot Van Box. Our Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Peninsula Clarion and the Anchorage Daily News on March 24, 2002.

Bid and specifications documents were mailed to seven firms and _______ bids were received by the due date of April 11, 2002.

The purchasing staff ensured that all bids considered were responsive. ____________ offered the lowest bid and best value to the borough based on the specification enumerated in the ITB.
