SUBJECT: Ordinance 2004-06, Amending KPB Chapter 14.10 to eliminate assembly review of street naming decisions

As written, this ordinance does not clarify how pending applications for street name review should be treated. In case an application for assembly review of a street name is filed prior to final action on this ordinance I recommend that the ordinance be amended by inserting a new section 3 and renumbering the existing section 3 to 4 as follows:

Section 3.

That this ordinance shall not apply to applications for assembly review of planning commission decisions on street names filed before the effective date of this ordinance.
