SUBJECT: Ordinance 2002-19-34, funding for hospital space reallocation and associated office furniture

Currently there are space utilization issues at Central Peninsula General Hospital that do not allow for conformance with OSHA and HIPAA requirements. The hospital administration proposes to remodel some areas of the hospital that would bring the hospital into compliance with these OSHA and HIPAA requirements. The proposed remodel would include improved patient/visitor accessibility, improved functionality of imaging, laboratory and cardiopulmonary spaces, solve relational problems, and create additional space.

Costs are estimated to be $389,800. All expenditures for this project will be charged to account number 600.81111.3CPH2
