SUBJECT: Ordinance 99-16 - Repeal of School Board Term Limits

On March 2, 1999, the Assembly enacted Ordinance 99-06. Section 2 of the ordinance sought to repeal term limits for members of the school board by repealing KPB 1.20.100 (C); however, the ordinance failed to amend that section of the Elections Code (KPB 4.30.010) which contained similar language.

Ordinance 99-16 is a housekeeping ordinance which will eliminate any confusion or inconsistencies as a result of your earlier action.
